I actually (more)I recently saw a video of someone's Pelican in FSX, and thought I'd share MY Pelican from XPlane. I actually made it quite a while ago. I modeled it directly from the Halo in-game 3D model, hence the high-quality goodness!
This is one of the early test flights of my Pelican. I later improved the thrustjet-cones, I had to custom-animate them to get them to look right. Even though the thrustjets aren't the best, this video does show off the Pelican's maneuverability. Enjoy!

The pilot circles the peak, hovers over the summit for a few minutes then lands at the treeline so his passengers can take pictures. Upon returning to Hood River, he shoots a few rivers and passes over the town of Lake Hood before landing back at his starting point.
Warning: if you don't like opera, you might not like the music but helicopters and coluraturas do go quite well together, in my opinion. ;-) (less)
